How to See a Doctor
Tell them you are "Self-Pay": Since Zion has no network, always ask for the "Cash/Self-Pay" rate. This is often 30–50% cheaper than the insurance rate.
Pay your IUA: You are responsible for the first portion of an eligible medical "need" ($1,250, $2,500, or $5,000 depending on your plan).
Submit the Bill: Upload an Itemized Bill (HCFA or UB-04 form) to your portal. Zion will either pay the provider directly or reimburse you.

While you can technically see any doctor, Medi-Share encourages using the PHCS PPO Network to maximize discounts for the community.

Pre-Notification: For any non-emergency surgery, hospitalization, or pregnancy, you must pre-notify Medi-Share at least 7 days in advance to ensure the need is eligible for sharing.
